spiros kavallieratos (guitar) trio flarchitgenre country origin biography Spiros Kavalieratos , presently a professor of municipal conservatory of Larisa , got his diploma in classical guitar from municipal conservatory of Korridalos (Greece). He gave plenty of recitals throughout the country. Recently he had been one of the leading participants in a show titled ‘Travelling with Che’ interpreting several masterpieces from all over S.America. Spiros Kavalieratos has been the bearer of a wide repertoire ranging from the Renaissance period (Da Milano, Attaingnant, Dowland) to the romantic one (Tarrega , Lliobet ) and the Latin American school and tradition (Barrios , Ponce , Cardoso ). He has got a specialty in chamber music for guitar including particular music written for guitar and other instruments such as flute , violin , clarinet and strings quartet. He took part in a series of concerts attending a lot of social events such as conventions , painting exhibitions , weddings , baptisms and so on . In coordination with his regular collaborator flutist Georgios Tsiardakas have created an artistic duo performing in concerts which comprise arias from well-known operas properly arranged for guitar and flute as well as pieces by Giuliani , Carulli , Ibert , Piazzola , Villa Lobos etc. Also , they both along with the clarinet player Stelios Kotrotsios formed a trio named ‘Flarchit’ which has performed in a flight of concerts in festivals, archaeological sites and have siding events presenting works by Kreutzer , Semerano , De Santis. The repertoire of the trio "Flarchit" is especially interesting since it contains compositions written in the last decade. Finally, he has got an efficiency in English and German language and also a little knowledge of Italian.
