biography
Paola was born in monterrey, mexico in 1977. She began her artistic journey at a very young age.
She took art courses in switzerland, usa and mexico. She s a self taught artsit.
At the moment she starts painting, the ideas, forms and colours flow in the canvas, everything is spontaneous...
She considers herself an expressionist abstract painter the colours are her principal languange, in that way she can reflect her feelings and inner thoughts in it.
The variety of themes, between one series and another, makes patent her inexhaustible creativity and imagination.
Paola: “Painting for me it has to do with responding to my inner and outer life; Since I was a kid, I enjoyed painting and drawing, I´ve taken some art courses in the U.S., Switzerland and México, but largely I am Self- Taught Painter, I love to experiment with different mediums and techniques…
What inspires me… When I create my abstracts paintings sometimes I get inspired by the beauty I see in simple things, like colors, textures, patterns and forms.
My paintings also expresses purely myself- they reflect energy and spirit…”
